As a designer, inspiration is always drawn from somewhere or something – be it another website or something in natural form, such as a landscape. Being a web designer is no different, and inspiration can be drawn from anywhere, from a sunset to a cake box. Below is a compilation of various inspirational sources that may help you in your next project.
Design Showcase Websites
One of the greatest resources are the endless amounts of design showcase websites. Simply put, these websites have a screenshot of a design and usually some information about them. Some showcases go a step further and have categories, which help the user refine what they’re looking for. Some showcases cater to a niche market, such as red websites, typographic websites or even website footers.
