Save9 customers can choose from one of five different protocols for the IGEL one to best meet their needs. The supported Server-Based Computing solutions include Citrix® XenApp, Microsoft® Terminal Services, Ericom PowerTerm Webconnect, Cendio ThinLinc and NoMachine NX. The preferred solution can be chosen when the devices are booted for the first time. The device is then automatically locked to this solution for security.
The IGEL one is extremely cost efficient and ideal for businesses looking to deploy terminals for centralised application delivery such as office based applications. The IGEL also has a VNC client onboard, enabling businesses to provide centralised remote IT support from an IT support helpdesk.
